Our client, a Public Listed Company, is looking for a high-caliber person to fill the position.
Job Duties
Maintain the integrity and performance of the corporate databases. Work with the project team on database-related projects, design and implement databases in accordance with end users' information needs and views. Work with the infrastructure team to perform backup/restore and recovery plans. Provide proactive and reactive data management support. Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards. Job Requirements
University graduate in Computer Science or an industry-related discipline. At least 4 years of hands-on experience with MS SQL Server/Oracle RDBMS administration. Sound technical knowledge of all the following: Large MS SQL database administration (including database installation, security patch, HA and DR configuration, performance tuning, etc.). Define and set up backup/restore/DR policy. Database monitoring tools. Database cloning and masking. Capacity planning for databases. Performance tuning/health check. Experience with the following is a plus: Database cloud technologies. Good English and Chinese communication skills (both written and verbal). Candidates with more experience will be considered for Team Lead/Project Manager roles.
