About the Role: As Assistant Manager, Travel Product & Partnership, you will be instrumental in forging strategic alliances with key players in the travel sector, including tourism boards, airlines, and hotels. You will negotiate contracts, collaborate on marketing campaigns, and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities for growth. This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Key Responsibilities: Partnership Development:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with tourism boards, airlines, hotels, and other relevant organizations to secure attractive travel offerings. Negotiation & Contracting:
Negotiate contracts and agreements with partners to ensure the best possible deals and mutually beneficial partnerships. Marketing Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and sales. Market Analysis:
Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion. Industry Expertise:
Stay informed about the latest developments in the travel industry, including airline and hotel policies, procedures, and emerging trends. Networking & Events:
Attend trade shows, industry events, and conferences to network with industry professionals and establish relationships with potential partners. Reporting & Communication:
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate key information, progress updates, and strategic recommendations to management and stakeholders. Digital Content Management:
Maintain and update website content, create dedicated landing pages, and ensure accurate and engaging information is readily available to customers. Website Optimization:
Monitor the website's look and feel, content structure, and navigation to ensure a seamless customer journey and superior user experience across all interfaces. Stakeholder Liaison:
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement website initiatives and ensure content and offerings are accurate and up-to-date. Requirements: Education:
Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Experience:
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in partnership management or sales role. Experience in the travel industry is a plus, preferably in travel product development. Digital Literacy:
Proficiency in using website content management systems (CMS) and other digital marketing tools. Relationship Building:
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders. Negotiation Skills:
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills. Marketing Acumen:
Understanding of marketing principles and experience collaborating on marketing campaigns. Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and data. Industry Knowledge:
Understanding of the travel industry, including airline and hotel operations, distribution channels, and emerging trends. Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills. Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Language Proficiency:
Working proficiency in Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing) is required. Fluency in English is also essential.
