The Supply Chain Design Manager is responsible for medium to long-term strategic infrastructure planning and Supply Chain Network Modeling for Swire Coca-Cola’s network of factories, distribution centers (DC), and warehouses across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan region (SEAHKT). This role: Utilizes digital network planning tools such as Coupa to optimize supply chain capital investment, capacity, operating cost, inventory and service level. Leads annual Long Term Infrastructure Planning for the South-East Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan region to ensure service levels and capacity for future growth while maximizing efficiency and embedding network flexibility and resilience. Supports Budget planning for infrastructure CAPEX, production capacity, and manufacturing and distribution network design. Builds and maintains a Framework for Cross Market Supply, including a Playbook of primary and secondary production sites, import and export rules and guidelines on how to activate cross-market supply. Supports and coordinates cross-market supply. Supports development and training of market infrastructure and supply planners to build world-class supply chain design capability. Reports to Supply Chain Planning Director. Key Responsibilities: Long Term Infrastructure Planning : Lead regional supply infrastructure planning process. Develop multi-year infrastructure plans with the market planners. Determine the optimal locations and timing for capex investment (including new factories, production lines, and distribution centers (DC) across the region with a focus on maximizing long-term value. Communicate and align on infrastructure plan recommendations with senior leadership and relevant stakeholders. Support incorporation of the infrastructure plan into CAPEX budget and financial analyses for CAPEX approval. Application of Digital planning tools:
Use tools like Coupa to assess future infrastructure needs based on anticipated business demands. Create supply chain models and scenarios and evaluate their potential impact on cost, efficiency, service level and ability to support growth. Medium-term capacity plan:
Support the annual Mid-Year Review and annual Budget Planning cycle to ensure optimal usage of regional capacity, CAPEX investment and inventory. Regional Cross Market Supply Framework:
Provide a Regional Supply Matrix of manufacturing and logistics capabilities, including a Playbook of primary and secondary supply sources, a production compatibility matrix and logistics guidelines to drive execution. Identify opportunities for harmonization of raw materials and finished goods across markets. Coordinate Cross-Market Supply:
Support the market teams in execution and coordination of cross-market supply including working with the various stakeholders in the Markets, Region, the Coca-Cola Company and co-packers. Supply Network Resilience:
Embed resilience within the design of the regional supply network through ensuring backup supply capacity internally or through a co-pack supply network and the planning of multi-echelon inventory levels within the network. NPD Supply Network:
Embed in-house or external New Product supply capability within the regional supply network design to enable category and portfolio innovation while optimizing capital investment. Capability Building:
Build supply chain design and capacity planning capability within each market in the region. Be the regional Subject Matter Expert for infrastructure planning and power user for supply chain design systems such as Coupa. Actively connect with Coca-Cola system subject matter experts and other industry partners to learn and apply the latest supply chain design technologies and approaches. The Successful Applicant: Bachelor’s Degree or above in Supply Chain or data analytics Supply Chain certification preferred Certified user of Supply Chain Design tools such as Coupa Modeler 10 years in FMCG industry with at least 5 years in supply chain planning and network design as well as operational experience in logistics or manufacturing Experienced in building supply chain models, digital twins and scenario planning preferred Knowledgeable in Supply Chain Design, Infrastructure Planning, Capacity Planning, Inventory optimization Technically competent in Data Management, visualization and analytics tools including Power BI, SAP Skilled in Digital planning tools such as Blue Yonder, Coupa Modeler and the ability to leverage AI tools Knowledge of a second language such as Chinese or a Southeast Asian Language preferred.
