About the Role: OKIA Optical Co., Ltd is seeking an experienced and dynamic
Assistant Financial Controller
to join our leadership team. This role is integral to managing the company’s financial operations, driving strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance across our factories in China and Vietnam. Key Responsibilities: Oversee financial operations, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies. Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify financial risks. Provide insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Manage manufacturing cost accounting for factories in China and Vietnam, ensuring accurate cost allocation and variance analysis. Collaborate with factory teams to improve cost structures and drive profitability. Partner with internal departments and external stakeholders to communicate financial expectations effectively. Lead strategic initiatives, including expansion, mergers, and acquisitions. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the finance team. Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure adherence to PRC and HK accounting standards and taxation regulations. Implement strong financial controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks. What We’re Looking For: CPA or equivalent, with a degree/master’s in Accountancy, Finance, or related fields. Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, including 5 years in senior management. Expertise in manufacturing cost accounting, especially in factory operations in China and Vietnam. Strong knowledge of PRC and HK accounting standards and taxation regulations. Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Proactive, adaptable, and capable of challenging traditional approaches.
