Responsible for fund investment accounting which covers funds’ liquidity management, invested capital preparation, understanding transaction structure, investment dividend calculation and estimation, deal exits dividend and carried interest calculation. Support end to end fund operations and funds capital calls/distributions activities. Assist pre/post-investment deal structure/documentation review to ensure compliance with fund agreements & tax regulations by working closely with investment professionals. Manage finance related enquiries from LPs by collaborating with IR. Coordinate fund audit and tax reporting process. Liaise and oversight the performance of external service providers. Participate in various regional/global ad hoc projects in relation to fund raising and other operation, implementation of new investor reporting to IPO. Requirements
Qualified accountant. Well qualified graduate in accounting, finance or equivalent. Big4 trained is highly desirable with 6 years+ relevant Fund accounting/Fund Admin experience. Understanding of private equity, private marketing or alternative investment is essential. Strong stakeholder management and communication skill to work effectively with senior management, investment professionals and externally with fund administrator, L&C advisors etc. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Adaptive to working in a multi-cultural environment. Additional Responsibilities
Report to Regional Head of Finance & partner with a team of professional accountants. Accountable for Head Office Financial & HKMA Regulatory Reporting. Ensure accurate financial disclosure, compliance of accounting standards and HKMA banking ordinance. Support FPA functions in Asia from budgeting, cost control to maintenance of financial models to facilitate business and corporate planning. Manage and guide finance manager, in-house/outsourced accountant for financial reporting to ensure compliance with local GAAPs. Oversight internal/external audit to fulfil local statutory/group reporting requirements. Accountable for North Asia Branch Financial and Management Reporting in accordance to IFRS standard. Responsible for preparing financial performance analytics to facilitate financial and business planning. Collaborate with global and regional finance team to ensure the smooth implementation of accounting standard, finance system implementation to cater for new product/business and accounting related initiatives.
