IT Help Desk-Level 1 - Incident Technician – Telecommunications Immediate Availability | NO Shift | Monday-Friday 9-6pm | 20-28k HKD | Permanent + DB & Benefits Responsibilities: Immediately Available preference given. Junior - Mid seniority with a minimum of 1 year of proven work experience. Software installation, patching, upgrades, and regular system health checkups. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain software applications and infrastructure. Handle escalations from Helpdesk for application support including in-house, 3rd party applications, and market data applications. Provide support for operating system drivers, software, and firmware. Assist users with home connections and work from home setups using firm or personal laptops with virtual machines. Ensure adherence to Client policies and procedures. Create and maintain support documentation. Interact with other support groups (local and global) within the firm across multiple platforms. Record and manage all incidents and requests in the ticket-tracking system. Proactively inform management of trends, significant problems, and expected delays. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule providing after-hours and weekend support. Stay current on technology and participate in training programs. Be responsive across multiple communication platforms such as E-mail, Microsoft Teams, Active Directory, Network, Server, and Switches/Routers. Basic Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field preferred; secondary focus on Science, Physics, or Mathematics.
