Arçelik A.Ş. and Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc to manufacture, sell and provide after-sales services of Hitachi branded home appliances including refrigerators, washing machines, vacuum cleaners globally (outside of the Japanese market). Arçelik (a multinational household appliances manufacturer that employs over 40,000 people worldwide and operates in 48 countries, and 28 production facilities in 9 countries with 12 brands such as Beko and Grundig) acquired 60% ownership in the new company while Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc. continues as a 40% shareholder of the company. Arçelik Hitachi Home Appliances has two manufacturing and nine sales companies in APAC&ME region. One of our sales companies in APAC region is based in Hong Kong. Arçelik Hitachi Home Appliances Hong Kong actively operates the services in Hong Kong, presenting a significant challenge to enhance our competitive positioning in the home appliance market. What you’ll be doing? Manage and prepare month-end closing and submit accounting / management reports to HQ Analyze financial standings and propose management actions for improving financial KPI Manage annual budget and monthly rolling forecast Monitor A/R, A/P, treasury and capital expenditure Work closely with external auditors for taxation, statutory audit and transfer pricing report Lead communication and response with HQ Coordinate with other subsidiaries to prepare and reconcile the intercompany balances Improve and maintain the company internal procedures to fit in the external & HQ’s requirements Who are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably in Accounting or Finance, or a related field Qualification of HKICPA or equivalent is required Over 20-25 years’ experience in the consumer products industry is required Experience in a CPA Firm would be an advantage Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented, responsible, and meticulous in work output Independent, self-motivated, able to work under pressure Seniority level
