TR at CUHK Company Limited (For Talent Pool only)Hong Kong SAROn-site Full Time Contract 3 year or above Entry level Multi-Scale Medical Robotics Center Multi-Scale Medical Robotics Center Limited (MRC) was established by the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Engineering of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in collaboration with ETH Zürich, Imperial College London, Johns Hopkins University, Technical University of Munich and the University of Hong Kong. The Medical Robotics Center (MRC) provides a collaborative platform for clinicians, engineers, and researchers from local and overseas universities. By focusing on innovative surgical robotics technology with a strong emphasis on clinical application and direct patient benefits, the MRC enables these multidisciplinary teams to work together and translate biomedical engineering research into new medical practices. Job Responsibilities Support the management of daily operations of MRC laboratory, its facilities and medical instruments, including MRI and C-Arm X-ray machines in the MRC hybrid operating room; Support the safety compliance management, standard operation procedures preparation and management, dangerous goods and inventory management of the laboratory; Provide onsite biomedical engineering support to R&D teams during engineering and preclinical studies; Support the center and research teams for experimental design, parts fabrication, as well as instrumentation and biological samples sourcing and procurement activities; Carry out technological, market and IP research on surgical robotics and Med Tech related topics to support various business development activities; Contribute biomedical engineering inputs on regulatory and compliance during R&D research meetings; Support in various publicity activities such as symposium, workshop, exhibition, visiting activities organised by the center. Job Requirements Master's degree or above in biomedical engineering or related disciplines; With at least 3 years of working experience in related fields or organizations; Good interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills; Mature, self-motivated and result-oriented; Excellent command of spoken and written English, Putonghua, and Cantonese. Salary & Benefits We offer 5-day work, attractive remuneration package to the successful candidate. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a 2-year contract (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
