What you'll be doing Payroll Responsibilities Assist in monthly payroll processing for Hong Kong, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Hong Kong Employment Ordinance. Support salary adjustments, bonus calculations, and incentive payments. Ensure accurate payroll data, including Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) contributions and tax reporting (IRD submissions – IR56B, IR56F, etc.). Maintain and update payroll records while ensuring confidentiality. Assist in payroll-related budgeting and forecasting. Collaborate with Finance and HR teams to ensure smooth payroll operations, including tax filings and audits. Support payroll system implementation and enhancements, working with HRIS vendors. Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll, MPF, tax, and benefits. Prepare FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) reports and monitor workforce trends for business planning. Support workforce budgeting and forecasting to align with company growth and financial targets. Analyze headcount data to identify workforce trends, cost implications, and optimization opportunities. Rewards Responsibilities Assist in developing and reviewing C&B policies to ensure competitiveness in the Hong Kong market. Conduct market research and salary surveys to provide insights on competitive pay structures. Help manage annual salary reviews, bonuses, and benefits administration. Prepare compensation analysis and reports for management review. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve total rewards strategies and align with business goals. Support employee engagement initiatives related to rewards and recognition. Ensure compliance with HK labor laws, MPF regulations, and company policies in all rewards-related matters. Assist in ad hoc projects related to payroll, compensation, and benefits. About you Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in payroll, C&B, or workforce planning, preferably in a multinational or sizable organization. Strong knowledge of HK Employment Ordinance, MPF regulations, and Inland Revenue Department (IRD) tax filing requirements. Experience in salary structures, benefits programs, incentive plans, and workforce forecasting. Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail. Proficiency in HRIS / payroll systems (experience in system implementation is a plus). Advanced Excel skills for payroll, compensation analysis, and workforce reporting. Proactively communicate with supervisors if issues arise and provide solutions. Able to adjust to changing business needs and work in a dynamic environment. Ability to identify challenges and propose practical solutions. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism. Fluent in English and Cantonese (spoken and written). Seniority level
