About the Role A meticulous and proactive onboarding role sitting under our Company Administration Team (CoAdmin). You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Due diligence (CDD) regulations during the client onboarding process. You will be responsible for conducting thorough due diligence, assessing risks, and ensuring the company adheres to regulatory and internal compliance standards. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy and updating of all client information in the database with exceptional attention to detail. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that both management and employees comply with the rules and regulations set by regulatory agencies. You will also ensure adherence to company policies and procedures and uphold the minimum standards of conduct and risk management within the organisation. What You'll Be Doing Collect, verify, and analyse customer documentation to ensure compliance with AML and sanctions regulations. Risk Assessment:
Assess and document the risk level of new clients based on regulatory and company standards. Monitor onboarding processes for potential red flags and escalate concerns as needed. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of onboarding documentation and risk assessments. Ensure adherence to data privacy and protection regulations. Communication and Liaison:
Act as a point of contact for internal teams, including sales, operations, and compliance. Liaise with external parties such as regulators or auditors during inquiries or reviews. Monitoring and Reporting:
Stay updated on evolving AML regulations and industry best practices. Assist in the preparation of reports for senior management and regulators. Process Improvement:
Identify inefficiencies in the onboarding process and propose enhancements to improve compliance and client experience. Qualification & Experience Minimum of 4 years of experience in the professional services or financial industry, with a focus on Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance. Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as banking, finance, or law. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and thorough pre-onboarding checks. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to streamline onboarding processes. Proficiency in KYC and AML processes to conduct comprehensive pre-onboarding checks efficiently. Knowledge of compliance regulations to ensure adherence to legal requirements.
