Head of Commercial Banking Department (Job ID: 4721)Responsibilities: Manage the department and formulate strategies to achieve the overall financial and business targets set by the Bank in the Commercial Banking business segment Deepen client relationships with existing commercial clients and solicit new clients/businesses Lead and coach the sales team to provide advisory services and product solutions to both internal and external clients Monitor the sales activities to ensure professionalism and compliance with the requirements of the Bank and regulators Perform comprehensive review and assessment of risks, and take proactive measures to ensure credit quality Plan and organize resources for business growth to achieve the objectives of the Bank as a whole Requirement: University graduate, preferably major in Economics, Business Management, Finance or a related discipline Minimum 20 years’ experience in banking with at least 10 years of experience in commercial banking and relationship management with well-developed business connections Relevant HKIB qualification would be an advantage Deep understanding of the principle of commercial credit and familiar with the Bank’s lending policies and standards Strong leadership skills to motivate the staff in meeting assigned targets and achieving goals Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua proficiency is an advantage Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Banking #J-18808-Ljbffr
