Responsibilities Oversee daily operational activities with external third parties, including inbound and outbound logistics, distribution, inventory management, and order processing. Track, evaluate, and ensure key performance indicators ( KPIs ) align with business requirements; recommend and implement strategies to address any performance challenges. Keep precise and current records of stock and inventory. Ensure operations run efficiently while adhering to compliance, workplace safety, food safety, and effective use of storage locations. Assist with audit reviews as needed. Continuously improve processes and standard operating procedures ( SOPs ) for warehouse operations. Identify suitable logistics solutions to accommodate future business demands and participate in third-party logistics ( 3PL ) tenders as required. Assess logistics costs and service expenses, exploring optimization strategies and negotiating with external partners to enhance cost efficiency. Conduct monthly analyses of 3PL billing in collaboration with the finance team; manage the transportation team’s budget and profit and loss ( P&L ) statements. Lead inventory analysis and collaborate with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to drive improvements. Oversee the application process for import licenses and manage any necessary changes. Address customer inquiries regarding delivery issues and undertake special projects as needed. Review customer feedback and operational challenges to formulate timely action plans for improvement. Lead and develop
the logistics team to ensure consistently exceptional performance. Qualifications Holds a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Possesses a minimum of 10 years of work experience, including at least 6 years in FMCG logistics, with a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role. Preferred experience in the
FMCG
sector, specifically within retail and food service industries, and in large multinational corporations. Demonstrates solid experience in managing third-party logistics (3PL) and vendor relationships. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP systems, preferably SAP. Capable of building relationships and collaborating effectively with a variety of stakeholders. Possesses strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
