Responsibilities : Manage and lead the engineering team to provide high-quality technical support to the properties in respect to engineering works, mechanical and electrical facilities, building systems, maintenance equipment, building materials, and building structure repair and maintenance; Supervise the engineering team in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of the properties; Manage trade contractors in the whole project cycle from project design to facilities implementation; Liaise with procurement team and vendors for tendering and service contract management; Prepare related reports, tender documents, and follow up on contract administration and progress; Plan, prepare, and monitor renovation projects and E&M maintenance work, including but not limited to MVAC, Fire Services, Plumbing & Drainage, Electrical, and builders work; Coordinate and supervise all related facilities installation, testing, and commissioning; Ensure that all related works comply with local Building Codes and government regulations that control the management of buildings; Handle complaints from different stakeholders in respect of technical matters; Take lead and react to emergency situations professionally to resolve technical issues. Requirements : Degree in Building Engineering, Surveying, or related disciplines; Chartered Building Surveyor / Builder / Construction Manager / Building Services Engineer preferred; At least 10 years of relevant experience with a supervisory position in facilities management and building maintenance management; Experience in sizable multi-function institute renovation, addition & alternation works will be an added advantage; Sound technical experience with hands-on ability in plumbing, carpentry, electrical works, and painting, gained through previous practical experience and attendance at trade schools/technical college or university; Knowledge of laws that govern building management and maintenance, including familiarity with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and legislation that have an impact on building safety, emergency evacuation, and environment protection; Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese; Proficient in PC applications such as MS Office and MS Project; Independent, analytical, self-motivated, well-organized, able to work under pressure.
