Exceed sales targets and revenue budgets, directly contributing to company profitability and strengthening market leadership across NASA. Develop and execute innovative sales strategies that expand the private label business, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term objectives. Proactively seek and capitalize on new business opportunities within the private label market, specifically targeting battery-related products within FMCG and retail sectors. Prepare, negotiate and present persuasive business proposals, overseeing entire process from pre-sales to post-sales to ensure maximum customer satisfaction & loyalty. Lead the development and execution of tailored go-to-market plans for private label products, ensuring alignment with emerging market trends & evolving customer needs. Build and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key decision-makers at major retailers and battery companies, facilitating account penetration and driving growth. Continuously monitor market landscape, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in private label battery space, ensuring a proactive response to shifts in the industry. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. Additional project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous. Native Japanese Speaking is required. Over 5 years of proven experience in key account management and business development, particularly within FMCG and retail sectors. A track record of success in expanding the Private Label business will be highly valued. In-depth knowledge of the battery market and FMCG industry, including an established network across major retailers and battery companies in Japan. A comprehensive understanding of FMCG business models, retailer value chains, and advanced pricing strategies (e.g., price waterfall) is essential. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers at large retail and battery companies.
