DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for all management and development of Data Center Critical Environment including all strategic and tactical aspects Successfully deliver contracted services and 100% compliance to agreed SLAs and KPIs Be available 24/7 on call to manage and rectify all issues/incidents Incident Management including but not limited to communicating and coordinating activities and on-site staff during a complex customer-impacting incidents, drive root cause analysis and provide a clear direction and drives approval for incident resolution Ensure all staff are properly trained, record maintained, and refresher training provided Prepare risk assessments, work plans and procedures to mitigate against disruption to services Comply with all company systems to meet health, safety obligations and relevant Regulations and Standards Work with customer engineering team to resolve any technical issues Work with IT and design and construction team to deliver DC projects within budget and resources arranged Responsible for PUE and ESG of data center Act as deputy country head of critical facility if global head of critical facility not presented Act as the change approver within the data center to ensure maximum availability and safety Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work Technical subject matter expert for complex issues Work in close collaboration with Design & Construction teams on delivery and transition of various projects on site Oversee the annual budgeting and forecasting process QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field 7+ years directly managing a data center 10+ years managing geo-dispersed teams preferably across multiple time zones Engineering background with focus on MEP systems a huge plus Managing full life cycle of Data Centre assets and have experience working with Engineering teams to replace/ refurbish Old Data Centre Assets within a ‘Live’ Data Centre environment Executive mentality and EQ with ability to collaborate with various types of people- DC techs to C-level customers and everyone in between Big-picture thinker with a growth mindset that truly believes in “innovate or become obsolete” Tireless energy and positivity to recruit, motivate and create a high-performing teams Fluent in both English and Cantonese a huge plus Non-egotistical executive continuously driving an inclusive “We” vs “I” partnership Exposure to Automation/ IOT deployment or Smart Data Centre integration experience a plus Experience to manage the service provision to cloud service provider a plus Experience in various workflow management system (Incident management, change management and problem management) More experience and higher qualifications would be considered Senior Manager Seniority level
