Job Description Build, lead, and mentor our engineering team to empower us through the next level of growth. Deliver best-in-class e-commerce and omnichannel experience while increasing our speed on experiments and execution. Oversee all in-house and third-party software systems from e-commerce to production to all growth initiatives. This is not a day-to-day hands-on development role, but we expect you to be highly technical and contribute technically, e.g., system architecture, code review, and debugging live systems. Liaise with all business units to ensure all system requirements are captured and all technical blockages are resolved in a timely fashion. Establish and enforce best engineering practices to ensure quality codebase, smooth scaling, site reliability, and system security. Build, mentor, and lead a top-performing engineering team: leading by examples and continuous improvement on the team’s soft and hard skills. Job Requirements Hands-on engineering leadership. Led a team responsible for large scale eCommerce business over hundred millions of US dollars. Excellent stakeholder management with strong product mindset and business acumen. Successfully delivered business results with a mix of in-house team and external agencies. Built and led engineering team from scratch. Known for promoting best practices at work. Production experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools, a big plus. A change maker with the ability to inspire and execute. Passionate about growing as a team. Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills. Fluency in spoken and written English. Think big and long term.
