We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join one of our largest financial organization client headquartered in Hong Kong. This exciting opportunity will provide technical and operational support to their existing hybrid cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing complex IT systems with a focus on cloud computing, virtualization, and network security.
Responsibilities of the Role: Manage and maintain the Private Cloud infrastructure, including servers, storage, load balancers, and sub-systems. Perform capacity planning, regular maintenance, and patch management. Troubleshoot system incidents and provide user support. Develop and maintain documentation, including system administrative procedures and disaster recovery plans. Participate in system-related projects, technical research, and proof-of-concept work. Provide support for the Public Cloud environment, including monitoring, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Skills Required for the Role: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. At least 5 years of experience, candidates with more experience will be considered for the senior role. At least 3 years of experience in managing hardware, operating systems, and software (including VMware, Cisco, Dell, NetApp, and Microsoft). Strong knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, and network security. Experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and NSX-T. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, and SQL Server. Experience with AWS or similar public cloud solution Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional certifications (e.g., VMware VCP on Cloud Management and Automation, desktop and mobility, network virtualization, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are advantageous.
