V&V Engineer
based in Hong Kong to join our dynamic team. We deliver multiple signaling projects to our customer MTR with dedication to sustainable and smart mobility in the field of design, engineering, installation, and test & commissioning. Working with V&V Manager for full coverage review of all Documents. Ensuring the verification activity defined in V&V Plan. Preparing Requirement Validation Table. Designing FIVP Procedures for IXL, ATC, ATS, and setting up the lab. Defining test plans and test descriptions for in-house activities. Liaising with PrCOM for exported tests. Ensuring that Factory testing provides full coverage to guarantee correct implementation of requirements: functional requirements and safety requirements. Designing, reviewing, and updating Test procedures/scenarios against System requirements for Metro Signaling System. Applying extensive expertise as a generalist to meet company standards and customer requirements, including the design of new/modified interfaces, products, and systems. Leading or participating in technical discussions with the customer. Working closely with V&V Manager and Project engineering manager involving potential modifications to specifications and strategizing test campaign for the project. Being process-oriented and demonstrating process compliance. Being the primary focal point in Internal/external Quality and Safety assessment audits for V&V. Performing test sessions: running test procedures, producing test reports and associated Change Requests. If applicable, performing customer acceptance tests and participating in site tests. Specifying, designing, developing, and validating test environment & tools (test bench, recording tools, simulated I/O, etc.). Performing investigations on defects detected on the test bench. Creating System Operation & Performance Test Reports (i.e. Safety, Robustness, Endurance, Redundancy...). Responsible for impact analysis across baselines and freezing the non-regression strategy. Checking that the test tools are in perfect working order and calibrated. Supporting T&C Team for Troubleshooting. You are expected to have these credentials:
Bachelors or Master’s in Computer Science / Electrical / Electronics / Communications / Instrumentation, Engineering, Signaling competency. 3-5 years of professional experience in Railway Signaling. Experience in T&C / Validation Activities. Knowledge of IXL / ATC / ATS Subsystems. Knowledge of computer networking and programming languages. Able to ensure a proper application of disciplined processes to deliver complex engineering. Actively listening to people. Teamwork. Good coordination and communication skills. Capacity to continuously adapt to a changing environment by showing a proactive and positive approach. You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
