Our client, a multinational company, is looking for a high-caliber person to fill the position. Job Duties
Perform day-to-day IT technical support on the infrastructure and application systems used. Conduct support on system administration, backup operation, and batch processing. Occasionally perform system support and fire-fighting in non-office hours and weekends. Occasionally perform system maintenance and application system program migration during non-office hours and weekends. Other ad-hoc tasks or projects. Job Requirements
Higher Diploma or Bachelor Degree in any of the information technology related disciplines. At least 3 years of system administration experience in supporting Linux, Solaris Unix, and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems. Basic understanding of database, backup, and storage technologies is an advantage. Interpersonal sensitivity and customer responsiveness with good spoken and written communication skills, and team working skills. Able to escalate problems in a timely manner as per the escalation matrix. Good English and Chinese communication skills (both written and spoken). Immediate availability is highly preferred (but not a must).
