Sales/Business Development (Cryptocurrency/Blockchain - Hybrid Work)
We are seeking an experienced
Sales/Business Development Manager
to drive the growth of our business. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategies to achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of blockchain/fintech/cryptocurrency/custody services, strong industry connections, and exceptional business acumen. Key Responsibilities Market Expansion
Identify and develop new business opportunities with institutional clients such as asset management firms, fund companies, insurance institutions, and more. Develop and implement strategies to expand the market presence of custody services.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. Understand client needs and provide tailored custody solutions to meet their specific requirements. Set and achieve custody business sales targets, providing regular updates on progress and market conditions. Assist in pricing strategies and negotiate contracts to secure business deals.
Market Insights and Competitor Analysis
Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities and risks. Analyze target client industries to understand their custody needs and align offerings accordingly. Collaborate closely with product, operations, and compliance teams to enhance custody offerings. Provide feedback to internal teams to support product innovation and marketing strategies.
Qualifications Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, or related fields.
Work Experience
At least 2 years of work experience in the crypto industry, of which at least 1 year in business development in custodial services, asset management or related field. Strong knowledge of custody service operations, product offerings, and regulatory frameworks.
Skills and Competencies
Exceptional sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
Preferred Qualifications
Established network of institutional or high-net-worth clients. Familiarity with cross-border custody services or global markets. Familiarity with the FX industry or payments industry preferred.
