Minimum Requirements
A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or related disciplines. Candidates with a higher degree and/or professional qualifications in engineering or digital construction technologies will be favourably considered. A minimum of 12 years of experience in the construction field, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. Proven track record in leading digital transformation initiatives in the construction sector and experience in working with local, regional, and international industry stakeholders. Solid experience in implementing digital transformation projects in driving digital optimization and transformation; experience in implementing AI-related construction technologies is a plus. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team of professionals, and the ability to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels of the industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong network both locally and overseas. Strong research skills to explore, identify, and evaluate innovative construction technologies, and the ability to identify commercial opportunities for the industry. Excellent command of English and Chinese. Duties
To lead a team of professionals to drive and facilitate the construction industry’s transition towards Smart Construction and Construction Digitalisation. To leverage digitalisation to influence change, realize new processes, build strong collaborative working relationships, and cultivate global partnerships with various industry stakeholders within the local, regional, and international network. To identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure digitalisation efforts are active, on track, and aligned with the objectives of advancing the construction industry to meet future challenges. To facilitate market adoption of construction digitalisation by ensuring familiarity with and knowledge of digital construction technology. To drive technology adoption across all tiers of the industry, including contractors and suppliers, through initiatives to enhance digital literacy and provide digital advice. To research revolutionary construction technologies and explore commercial opportunities for innovative solutions to introduce to the industry. To collaborate with the Hong Kong Institute of Construction to introduce professional training on digitalisation topics, equipping students with the skillsets needed for the transformation of the modern construction industry.
