About the Role
We are partnering with a leading real estate company to recruit a dynamic and results-driven
General Manager ,
Leasing
to lead their leasing team in Hong Kong. This is a high-impact role where you will oversee leasing professionals and drive the leasing strategy for a prestigious retail portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail leasing, an extensive business network, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent environment. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute innovative leasing strategies to maximize occupancy rates and rental income for the retail portfolio. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10 leasing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture. Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, brokers, and key industry stakeholders. Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify leasing opportunities and stay ahead of market trends. Negotiate and finalize lease agreements, ensuring optimal terms and conditions for the company. Collaborate closely with the Asset Management team to align leasing strategies with broader business goals. Monitor leasing performance and provide detailed reports and insights to senior management. Ensure all leasing activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and tenant meetings. Candidate Profile
Minimum of 10 years in retail leasing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven success in leasing retail properties in Hong Kong is essential. Strong connections within the retail and real estate sectors in Hong Kong. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen. Independent, self-disciplined, and results-oriented. Able to work under pressure and adapt to a dynamic market environment. Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field. Fluency in English and Cantonese is required; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
