Senior Research Assistant/Research Associate in Global Health and Big Data (Ref.: 502440)Laboratory of Data Discovery for Health Limited Hong Kong SAROn-site Full Time 3 year or below Entry level Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Research Assistant/Research Associate in Global Health and Big Data, to commence as soon as possible, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. The appointee will join the Laboratory of Data Discovery for Health (D24 H), a start-up company incorporated by The University of Hong Kong (HKU) that is led by senior faculty members of the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine at HKU. The D24 H sets to play a pivotal role in gathering and curating massive, unique data resources and developing new, deep, frontier analytics in protecting global public health and improving individual healthcare through precision medicine. The appointees are expected to contribute to collaborative research projects on global health, post-marketing surveillance of precision medicine using artificial intelligence and novel data analytics. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or above At least 3 years’ relevant research experience in Epidemiology, Pharmacoepidemiology, Biostatistics, communicable and non-communicable diseases, antimicrobial resistance, genomics, bioinformatics, big data analytics, or artificial intelligence analytics. Good command of written and spoken English. Strong communication skills. Self-motivated, organized, detail-minded, hardworking, and able to work well in an interdisciplinary team. Applicants with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I/II. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
