Our client, a Leading Financial Institution, is looking for a high-caliber person to fill the position. Job Duties Lead Finance Departments for all financial and accounting related issues, covering Financial Reporting, Finance Analysis, Investment Accounting, and Liquidity Risk Projects for the Group’s Pension Business in Hong Kong. Setup and provide advisory on Business Strategy and Business Planning for the Pension Business. Manage Business Modelling and Business Transformation Projects. Focus on Financial Management with solid experience in managing a Finance Department. Fully responsible for Financial Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, and Budgetary Reporting for the Group’s Pension Business. Communicate with various Financial Authorities regarding MPFA & SFO issues. Regularly review internal controls and streamline the workflow of the Finance Division. Job Requirements University degree holder in Finance / Accounting. Qualified Accountant is a MUST. Over 15 years of experience in Financial Control, Financial and Regulatory Reporting within Bank / Insurance / Asset Management / Trustee / Pension Sectors. Proven experience in setting up and advising on Business Strategy and Business Planning for Pension Business. Experience in management of Business Modelling and Business Transformation Projects. Familiarity with MPFA & SFO Regulations and effective communication with various Financial Authorities. Strong team leadership experience with a proven record in managing a Finance Department is a MUST. Experience in controlling daily operations of the Finance Division. Good exposure in financial planning and analysis, cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting, statutory & financial reporting including SFC returns and surveys, budgetary reporting, management reporting, regulatory reporting, and performance evaluation in financial institutions. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage confrontational issues. Able to exercise judgment, work under pressure, and liaise effectively with various business units and groups. Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English, including Cantonese and Putonghua.
