The University now invites applications for the Research Project “Development of A Machine Learning Model to Estimate The Risk of Lupus Nephritis in SLE Patients”, funded by the School Research Grants (SRG): Research Assistant (Full-time / Part-time) – Department of Computer Science (Ref: RA (COM – SDSC – SRG068) 2025-02-28) Responsibilities Work on cleaning and processing SNP data for SLE patients. Build machine learning models and analyze the differences between the likelihood of developing SLE, LN, and NLN for a group of surveyed people. Assist in reporting experimental results and drafting academic papers. Applicants Should Possess a recognized bachelor’s degree in computer science or related disciplines. Be able to use Python or R. Have knowledge of the basics of statistics, AI, and related methodologies. Have an understanding of using AI to predict the likelihood of a disease occurring.
