Job Description
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Database Manager. Responsibilities
Lead the database administration team. Perform DB management, monitoring the routine maintenance tasks, such as implementing backup and index maintenance, as well as monitoring SQL server performance. Develop SQL Server Stored Procedures, Views, and Functions. Work collaboratively with appropriate teammates to maximize efficient use of database to address needs of specific areas. Recommend database management software and lead the development of concept activities. Fine-tune T-SQL queries and enforce standard coding based on best practices. Deploy changes on schema, modules, and data from development to staging, and staging to production environment. Maintain database high availability and ensure all production systems work properly. Job Requirements
Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant discipline. At least 8 years’ experience in database management and Microsoft SQL Server (MySQL is a plus), with management experience being an advantage. Knowledge in the development of SQL Server Stored Procedures is definitely an advantage. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent troubleshooting skills and performance tuning.
