Position Description This position will be responsible for driving CITIC Securities Asset Management’s sales and distribution strategy for wholesale distribution clients principally in Hong Kong and China, and potentially more broadly in APAC depending on experience. The position will be responsible, together with management, for developing a coherent sales and distribution strategy for covered clients, including broad client analysis, segmentation and prioritization, and then be accountable for delivery against that strategy.
For the right candidate, this position will offer significant leadership and management opportunities, and the potential for growth into broader leadership positions and responsibilities within Asset Management.
Candidates for this position will need to demonstrate (i) a clear understanding of the product and service strengths of an asset manager such as CITIC Securities Asset Management, (ii) the challenges of building relationships with regional wholesalers (private banks, wealth management firms and platforms, securities firms, retail banks and other offline and online distribution intermediaries), and (iii) a clear plan to address those challenges. A successful candidate will also need to be able to demonstrate proven success at developing sales strategies and raising assets with such intermediaries in the region.
This position is likely to be located in Hong Kong although some flexibility on location is available.

Requirements
Degree holder, major in business or finance related subjects
7-12 years of relevant sales experience in an asset management or other applicable financial services business line
Proven relationships with relevant clients
Ability to lead projects independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-driven team player
Strong sense of personal accountability, diligence, initiative and responsibility for owning issues through to resolution
Keen to work in and able to thrive in a fast-growing business with a very broad range of asset management business lines
Business level Mandarin and English.
