Job Description - Senior Corporate Quality Manager - Risk and Assurance Management (Ref: 250000A4) Responsibilities Leverage the established expertise in risk management, assurance and strategy development to shape and support Corporation’s second line of defence (2LoD) strategies. Ensure strategic alignment, operational excellence and continuous improvement across all Centres of Excellence within the 2LoD framework. Coordinate cross-functional risk management activities, provide expert guidance on risk scanning and assurance processes for 2LoD, and support seamless integration of risk-based assurance planning. Support the building and maintenance of technical capabilities within the 2LoD to strengthen team expertise and operational performance. Work with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and 2LoD Planning and Performance to ensure alignment of risk management and assurance processes and maintain consistency across organisational frameworks. Act as an independent reviewer to conduct risk-based assurance and advisory reviews and make appropriate recommendations to senior management. Manage assigned strategic special projects within the 2LoD and broader Legal and Governance (L&G) function, focusing on initiatives with significant organisational impact. Prepare high-quality materials for Business Unit leadership, executive, and board meetings, ensuring clarity and alignment with strategic objectives. Requirements Degree in Engineering / Business / Risk Management or a relevant discipline. Possession of auditing qualifications from an internationally recognized institution is preferred. A minimum of 10-12 years relevant experience, of which 4 years should be at managerial level (or equivalent). Proven experience in strategic planning and execution with strong knowledge of internal controls, business assurance systems and assurance databases. Demonstrated expertise in analysing and optimizing Risk and Opportunity management frameworks, with the ability to identify both threats and strategic opportunities. Experienced user of Assurance Management Database and Systems. Exceptional communication skills, including producing high-quality business reports, presentations, and strategic documentation. Advanced project management capabilities, with experience of progressing multiple workstreams simultaneously, managing competing priorities, and delivering under pressure to tight deadlines. Proven expertise in stakeholder management and strategic influence, particularly with senior leadership.
