ASTRI’s core R&D competence in various areas is grouped under five Technology Divisions: Communications Technologies, Artificial Intelligence and Trust Technologies, Advanced Electronics Components and Systems, IoT Sensing and AI Technologies, and Innovative Mind. It is applied across six core areas which are Smart City, Financial Technologies, New Industrialisation and Intelligent Manufacturing, Digital Health, Application Specific Integrated Circuits, and Metaverse. To support our constant endeavour to position Hong Kong as a world-class smart city and an international hub of innovation and technology, we are seeking qualified professionals to fill the following position(s): Job Responsibilities: Implement the technology & product roadmap and prepare corresponding proposals for both HK & GBA funding applications and industry financial support Carry out design and development of materials and process for 3D-IC related applications Conduct literature and patent survey on advanced electronic component materials Compile technical documents for the project deliverables, liaison with customer and supplier to support the related R&D activities Perform other ad hoc duties where necessary Job Requirements: Master’s degree holder or above in Organic Chemistry, Polymer, Materials Science, Energy or relevant disciplines More than 3 years working experience in materials development for electronic components. Candidate with less experience or qualification may be considered for the position of Senior Lead Engineer / Lead Engineer / Senior Engineer Good written and presentation skills in English, fluency in Mandarin /Cantonese Strong team spirit, well organized with time management, self-motivated and work hard Willingness to frequently work in mainland of China Live ASTRI values The appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary.
