Job Requirements: Act as a local business partner, providing site, travel, and office safety support, along with Health & Safety (H&S) advice for internal clients at both group and production levels. Assist in fostering a culture that promotes a healthy, safe, and accident-free working environment. Implement H&S initiatives, plans, programs, standards, and management systems consistently and effectively at the corporate level; ensure proper verification across all locations, including sites. Develop and implement strategic solutions to enhance management's efforts in improving H&S performance. Serve as a key investigation officer in the event of High Potential (HIPO) incidents, determining root causes and preparing remedial action plans, along with follow-up on associated actions. Monitor performance related to injuries, illnesses, and incidents, providing prompt reports. Manage the emergency response plan to address emergency situations, ensuring the health and safety of employees and contractors. Assist in the preparation of corporate H&S reports for management review, detailing past performance and progress on improvement initiatives. Monitor compliance with H&S regulations. Develop and deliver H&S training, workshops, and best practices, sharing lessons learned. Communicate findings, concerns, and deficiencies to the Head of HSE to ensure timely and necessary improvements. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. At least 10 years of experience in safety management, preferably within the construction or engineering industry. Experience in corporate environments, particularly within multinational corporations, is preferred. Solid track record in the implementation of corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines. In-depth knowledge and recognized qualifications in safety management, including certifications such as ISO 45001 or equivalent. Registration as a Safety Officer (RSO) or Safety Auditor (RSA) with the Labour Department is required. Willingness to drive change and develop actionable improvement plans. Hands-on, practical approach with strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
