- Be responsible for oversight of the Bank's Climate Risk management framework, including but not limited to the coordination and implementation of relevant Climate Risk and/or ESG related key policies, measures, tools, reporting, processes, practices, etc.- Conduct and prepare regular monitoring reports on Climate-related risk which the Bank is exposed to.- Conduct the materiality identification and strategic assessment of Climate-related risk.- Support to regularly review and drive the enhancement of the Bank's Climate Risk management framework and policy.- Support the improvement of Climate Risk related data collection and quality, and the corresponding data system, with various stakeholders.- Support the regular and/or ad-hoc reporting of Climate Risk landscape to the Senior Management / Committee.- Work closely with regulators and internal stakeholders (including Head Office) towards the identified issues and/or gaps to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.- Provide support to internal and external audit.- Provide support and educate relevant stakeholders and senior executives in relation to Climate Risk and/or ESG related matters.- Conduct research on the latest regulatory requirements and industry best practices in Climate Risk management. Requirements- Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Environmental Science, Sustainability or other related disciplines.- Advanced degree / Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) Certificate / ESG-related qualification is an advantage.- Qualification for Enhanced Competency Framework is preferable.- 2-3 years' relevant experience in Climate Risk management or related risk management field for FI is preferable.- Sound knowledge in Climate Risk management related standards/guidelines, including HKMA SPM GS-1, NGFS, IPCC, ISSB, SBTi, etc. is preferable.- A good awareness of the latest developments in sustainability and climate change areas.- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.- Proficiency in English and Chinese, excellent command of Mandarin is an advantage.- Knowledge in programming languages including VBA, SAS or Python is a plus.
