About this role: As a Control Room Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in identifying and providing appropriate resolution to frontline operation staff, deploying suitable staff to handle and resolve issues. You will also need to liaise with the engineering team and external parties to request assistance or update the situation when necessary. Job Responsibilities:
Handling telephone calls from internal and external parties related to emergency, urgent, and non-urgent situations. Assessing, controlling, and arranging inspectors and appropriate resolutions when receiving queries and requests for assistance from frontline staff. Deploying inspectors to handle incidents along the tram lane and maintaining close liaison to achieve the latest situation. Liaising with the engineering team and external parties to request assistance or update the situation when necessary. Providing accurate and legible documentation, both handwritten and digitalized, relating to daily operations, incident reports, and fax documents to external parties. Utilizing the dispatch system for inputting frontline staff overtime records, updating the daily roster in real time, and generating reports for daily operational purposes. Providing operation and incident information to the management team in a timely manner. Collaborating closely with maintenance to improve the impact in case of degraded mode. Requirements:
Degree/Higher Diploma holder in Logistics/Transportation/Engineering or other related fields. At least 4 years of relevant working experience. Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and planning skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficient in MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing. Knowledge of transport operations and maintenance processes is an advantage. Previous experience in a transportation or operations environment is preferred. A competitive compensation package will be offered to the right candidate.
