Job Description
Discover and evaluate emerging brands, including niche markets, to enhance our portfolio and offer innovative products to our customers. Create detailed purchasing plans and open-to-buy (OTB) strategies that align with the company’s strategic goals. Develop and implement product and assortment strategies to meet targets across specified categories and channels. Regularly analyze sell-through rates, gross margin performance, and inventory status to ensure alignment with company objectives, while proposing effective solutions to any challenges that arise. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to foster trust and collaboration. Partner with vendors to devise competitive pricing strategies that maximize gross profit potential. Collaborate with internal teams on marketing and public relations efforts—both online and offline—to boost sales performance. Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience in a buying role, ideally in a multi-brand setting. Deep passion for and understanding of the fashion industry. Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Results-oriented with strong analytical abilities and business insight. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Fluent in both spoken and written English and Cantonese. Seniority Level
