2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Responsibilities: Deliver regulatory and compliance support at both regional and local levels. Assist local teams, particularly in engaging with regulators in the China market and newly integrated markets like India and Malaysia. Oversee compliance due diligence for new M&A projects and aid in integration preparation and planning. Support the monitoring of Compliance Annual Plans locally and provide guidance to local Officers on Group policies, guidelines, tools, and methodologies. Collaborate with the Regional CCO and Regional HCOG to prepare Compliance update presentations for local Boards. Ensure compliance with reporting requirements from local teams to Regional and Group Compliance, while maintaining report quality. Qualifications: Degree from a leading university in economics, accounting, finance, law, engineering, or related disciplines; advanced degrees such as an MBA or a Master's in risk management, insurance, or financial services are a plus. Over 7 years of experience in the financial services sector, with at least 5 years specifically in insurance.6-7 years of relevant experience in control functions, ideally in compliance or consultancy, including regulatory experience, with a minimum of 5 years in insurance compliance. Experience in a multinational corporate environment. Knowledge of compliance risk assessment methodologies. Expertise in regulatory monitoring and advisory, with a solid understanding of the insurance regulatory landscape. Experience in M&A projects within financial services. Proven track record in conducting compliance due diligence for potential partnerships and acquisitions. Familiarity with key regulatory requirements concerning major compliance risks such as distribution, product development, data protection, governance, and security. Experience in conducting compliance or audit controls. Project management or coordination experience is desirable. Strong presentation skills, capable of effectively engaging with key stakeholders. Proficient in identifying problems and developing effective solutions. Ability to manage multiple complex projects and responsibilities simultaneously and effectively. Fluent in English and Mandarin.
