The team is responsible for supporting the strategic sourcing activities and some tactical purchasing activities. The main purpose of the role is to introduce and implement an effective category management plan, all in order to deliver higher efficiencies and greater value to HKEX from quality, efficiency and cost perspective. Key Responsibilities: Responsible and support Business Lines on technology related procurement projects covering hardware, software, telecom and IT services. Participate vendor selection, lead and run RFI, RFP and Tender process; negotiate terms and conditions by working closely with stakeholders and legal department. Manage IT suppliers’ performance and relationship. Identify cost savings opportunities and advise area of improvements through supplier consolidation, service delivery improvements and process efficiencies. Understanding risk in the commodity area and how to mitigate commercially, contractually and operationally. Engage with business stakeholders in relation to Procurement and develop the reputation of Procurement across the business and providing ‘value add’ support to the business. Ensure procurement activities are in compliance with HKEX’s policy and procedures. Undertake ad-hoc tasks when required. Qualifications & Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business or related discipline is preferred. At least 15 years of strategic IT sourcing experience in large organizations and has proven cost savings track record. CIPS qualified or equivalent qualifications is an advantage. Strong exposure to IT categories in scope, product knowledge, supplier and market dynamics, business models, contract negotiation, implementation and supplier relationship management. Track record of category management implementation and ability to launch it and train others. Must be able to adapt well to changes, thrive under pressure and cope with stringent project timelines. Excellent stakeholder management skills in developing relationships and able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation. Self-starter, high integrity, business acumen and strong negotiation skills. Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese. Experience in using procurement tool is preferred. Proficient with MS Office.
