Project Manager - Bank Industry (HK$50K – $60K) (Ref. No.: 25549)
Our client, a Leading Consumer Bank, is looking for a high-caliber person to fill the position. Job Duties Develop the high-level project plan, set objectives, identify resources, resolve constraints and deliver good quality application system. Develop, coach and mobilize the project team to achieve specific software development goals; take part in the actual development work when necessary. Evaluate, identify potential challenges and develop contingency plans to minimize business risks. Ensure effective communication is in place between users and IT team members within the project and also across projects. Maintain up-to-date project files and ensure the design works are well documented. Provide technical support to maintain smooth 24-hour round-the-clock operation (including Disaster Recovery Site support) within the bank. Keep updated with Software Development Life Cycle and Design Methodology. Liaise with vendors on system support and maintenance. Participate in daily system support and maintenance. Design, supervise the development and verify the quality of deliverables such as programs and technical documents. Ensure that development works follow department standards and guidelines. Review and ensure project documentation including analysis and design works. Able to lead Senior System Analysts, System Analysts, and junior Programmers, facilitating cooperation among team members. Job Requirements 10 years’ experience in application software development with at least 3 years in project management. Banking experience is preferable. Solid experience and knowledge of various banking applications and architecture design. Exposure to multiple computer platforms. Good insight into technology trends and new technology. System development and support experience in .NET, Java, database (ORACLE, MySQL). Good experience on Linux, Openshift, and Windows Platform. Good analysis and communication skills. Onsite working is expected. BAU support is also required. Strong analytical and communication skills. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
