Prepare OTB, seasonal and annual buying plans based on a thorough understanding of consumer, market trends and company business objectives. Monitor closely on OTB, control sales and inventory to achieve seasonal sales and profit targets based on the seasonal business plan. Determine buying guides and assortment strategy in order to obtain a seasonal target. Oversee inventory costs, sales forecast, gross profit margin to achieve sales and profit targets. Formulate pricing strategies based on competitive analysis, market reviews, competitor positions, and financials. Evaluate ongoing performance and take actions as appropriate. Experience / Qualification Requirements Degree holder in Fashion & Textiles or business discipline. With at least 3 years of experience in buying and merchandising, preferably in the fashion/lifestyle/retail industry. Proactive, sensitive to figures and strong analytical and negotiation skills. Excellent product sensibility and understanding of competitive retail landscape. Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Hands-on analytical skills in MS Excel and ERP systems in a sizable corporation. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Buyer.
