Job Summary: As a Learning Facilitator for the Youth Education Series (Y.E.S.) Programs at Hong Kong Disneyland, you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver engaging, educational, and memorable experiences for local and international student groups. Representing Disney, you will inspire curiosity, foster learning, and create magical moments through interactive programs that align with Disney’s renowned standards of excellence. This role allows you to shape young minds meaningfully while creating memories that will last a lifetime. Responsibilities: • Facilitate educational and/or leisure programs for youth groups ranging from kindergarten to post-secondary students. Each group will be guided by a designated facilitator, and program assignments will vary according to qualifications and operational requirements.
• Bring energy and enthusiasm to engage youth groups of all ages by adhering to Disney Guest Service standards, creating a fun and interactive environment, and prioritizing safety and well-being of guests throughout the program.
• Collaborate with the Youth team, Y.E.S. lead, and other facilitators to provide smooth pre-arrival and on-day program experiences, fostering connections with educational groups.
• Provide logistical support, coordinate, and prepare program materials to ensure smooth program operations.
• Collect feedback from participants and prepare post-program evaluations to facilitate ongoing program improvement.
• Assist with other daily routine administration duties as assigned by leaders to support overall Y.E.S. program operations (for experienced facilitators). Basic Qualifications: • Ability to conduct programs in indoor and/or outdoor environments under varying weather conditions (e.g. sun and rain).
• Flexibility to participate in ~5 days consecutive training sessions.
• Able to gain program qualifications.
• Maintain a positive attitude while obtaining multiple program qualifications to support operational needs.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua is preferred (non-Chinese-speaking candidates are also welcome). Preferred Qualifications: • Proven experience in program facilitation, including teaching, tutoring, or leading outdoor activities (e.g., as a tour guide, educator, or private tutor).
• A background in science or related disciplines is highly desirable and considered an advantage. Additional Information: • Candidates must be available to work a minimum of two days per week on a regular basis.
• Additional availability on weekdays is highly preferred and will be considered a plus.
• Work hours will vary between 4 to 10 hours per day, depending on operational needs.
